- Heat-resistant tape, gloves and protective paper
Step-by-step
1
Measure the printable area
Measure the circumference and height, allowing space around lids, handles, tapers and seams.
2
Prepare the artwork
Mirror the design and keep small text away from strongly curved edges.
3
Clean and disassemble
Remove lids, straws and heat-sensitive parts as instructed, then clean the coated surface.
4
Wrap the transfer
Pull the print firmly around the item and tape it without gaps or wrinkles.
5
Heat as specified
Use equipment suited to the item’s diameter and follow the blank supplier’s settings.
6
Cool safely
Wear heat protection, remove the transfer cleanly and cool the item upright before reassembly.
Common problems
| Problem | Likely cause | Try this |
|---|---|---|
| Faded vertical strip | Wrap contact is uneven | Tighten the wrap and check equipment size |
| Blurred image | Transfer moved | Tape all edges firmly |
| Coating changes colour | Too much heat or time | Reduce gradually and retest |
