DTF vc The Rest

Lesson: DTF vs. The World (Vinyl, Sublimation, Screen Printing)

Let’s quickly compare it to other methods you might have heard of:

✂️ vs. Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)

Vinyl: Great for simple text and one-color shapes, but it’s difficult to layer for complex, multi-color designs.

DTF: Allows for unlimited colors and intricate details in a single layer.

💨 vs. Sublimation

Sublimation: Ink turns into a gas and dyes the fabric fibers. It produces a super-soft feel but only works on light-colored, 100% polyester fabrics.

DTF: Works on any color and almost any fabric (cotton, polyester, blends, denim, etc.).

🎨 vs. Screen Printing

Screen Printing: The gold standard for bulk orders. It’s durable but requires creating a separate screen for every single color in your design. This makes it very expensive and inefficient for small orders or multi-color designs.

DTF: Has no color limit and is cost-effective for even a single t-shirt.
